Ants are the perfect archetype of socialism. There is no individualism among ants; they have no sense of self, only a sense of duty. They live to serve their colony and are born knowing what their role is. Ants have neither leisure time nor the liberty to do as they please. They do not understand the concept of liberty so the idea of pursuing their own interests doesn’t exist. Ants live to work and work until they die. The hierarchical structure of ants is exactly like socialism: there are the elites (queen and drones) and the peasants (workers, soldiers, etc…). The peasants share everything equally with each other and they are each equally as useful to their colony. No single ant or class of ant is more important than another because without one they cannot all exist. This is also a point of Creationism. Ants could not possibly have evolved into their present state because the removal of any class of ant would make the colony unable to function and therefore would not survive. The fact that ants are born knowing exactly what their job is, is proof of purpose and not evolution.
But is this how we want to live? God gave us the gift of reason and philosophy so that we could enjoy our lives as free individuals. Human beings are not constructed to be able to function in the socialist way of ants. It is in our nature to desire uniqueness, to crave individuality, success and to distinguish ourselves from others. Our intellectual capability is what makes us unique and happiness is not as easy as simply having our basic needs met. The pursuit of happiness is more than that; the human dynamic of emotion and it is the right of every individual. Yet it is also because of our intelligence and individual liberties that the concept of eliminating them can be conceived. A compelling paradox and it is a dangerous thought; the very individual liberties and free thought that we are gifted with is what allowed people like Marx, Lenin, Trotsky and Alinksy to come up with philosophies on subverting them. Therefore the same liberties that socialists suppress are what allowed them to come into being in the first place. As a result their theories are very simply invalidated. If liberty and free thought did not exist, Socialists would not have been able to come up with theories on controlling and suppressing those fundamental characteristics of humanity. This brings socialism into a conflicting contradiction.
